Key Account Manager – Eastern Canada at Axis Communications Job Overview Axis is looking for a Key Account Manager – End Customer who will serve as the point person within Axis for specific major end customer account relationships assigned by area sales management. This role requires a unique mix of technical and sales skills and involves communication with global sales, business development, marketing and technical services teams. What You’ll Do Acts as the point person within Axis to manage all aspects of assigned End User(s). Responsible for the daily management of accounts from inception and assignment to transition. Strategic management of the accounts to deepen relationships across product lines and geographical boundaries over time. Involved in solution sales and implementation, including presentations, proposals, pilot site management, integration testing, and ecosystem partner coordination. Manages the relationship with all end‑users and ecosystem partners involved in the account. Builds a team around the account and coordinates all resources and communication among sales, business development, marketing, and technical services. Writes and maintains all documentation related to the account, including meeting minutes, notes, designs, and Salesforce records. Works with the Professional Services design team to create site surveys, camera recommendations, camera placement, field of view, pixel calculations, site drawings (Visio, CAD), and system designs with third‑party recommendations and integration. Maintains precise documentation of product configuration and specifications relevant to the account. Assembles necessary reporting as required. Coordinates any post‑sales support or technical assistance. Performs other related duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For Strong project management skills with particular focus on attention to detail. Strong account management skills with focus on strategic planning. Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships at all levels with the end user. Strong communication (verbal, listening, written), presentation, and training skills. High level of technical ability for proof‑of‑concepts, pilots, and pre‑/post‑sale troubleshooting. Capability and proven experience on solution sales, including assessing customer needs and proposing proper solutions. Ability to convey complex technologies and specifications easily. Experienced design documentation skills (schematics, flow charts, metrics, FOV, pixels on target). Preferred strong knowledge of the physical security market, including products and future trends. Knowledge of video transport protocols and compression technologies. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area. 5+ years in a sales, national/key accounts, sales engineering, or project management role in the video or physical security markets. Strong technical background. Applicants must reside in Montreal (QC). Preferred primary language is French. Preferred, But Not Required Axis Certified Professional. Physical Demands Employee is occasionally required to lift 20–40 lbs. Expected travel time for this position is approximately 40–50%. Compensation Approximate total compensation range: $144K–$163K, which includes a 70% base / 30% commission OTE and a car allowance.
