Market Research Manager, Brand Health TrackingToronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid)OverviewJob DescriptionWhat you can expect to be doing:IntegrityEnsures projects meet timeline targets and monitors projects ongoing progressIdentifies project problems and possible solutions. Proceeds with implementation of simpler onesManages daily tasks & projects according to department priorities.Performs standardized check points for each study for example, checks on-line/CATI links ensuring that programmed questionnaires are getting at the right issues and continuous logic and flow of study as client changes are made over time. Raises issues to manager as appropriateCheck data quality for accuracy.Identifies own goals and drives personal development through the performance management processSolve day to day problems and has good common sense to seek out assistance on solutions to more complex problemsSeeks constructive feedback openly as part of learning. Shares constructive feedback with peers as appropriateShares praise and recognition and appreciation to those who support themAsks perceptive and probing questions to uncover new learnings and explore needsLearns about other Ipsos products and servicesLearns about other Ipsos BUsParticipates in industry events as appropriateProficient in Word, Power Point, Excel – chart design, finding ways to be more efficient,etc. (SPSS or SAS an asset)Proactively reaches out to team to offer help, foreseeing or anticipating project challengesDelegates appropriately to colleagues in other divisions that support their projectsAssists in the training of junior team members, report pulling, data checking, Next Work Bench, etc.Can resolve many conflicts with a high degree of skill.Coordinate with suppliers for project set-up and day-to-day operationsParticipates in discussions and shares opinions in areas of confidence and growing expertiseEncourages others to share their opinionsMonitors and facilitates IIS/ Direct activities to ensure that all deliverables are running according to project plan and takes action to avoid/resolve problems and/or seeks management assistance if issues are beyond their control.Participates in corporate activities, may volunteer for staff committeesClient FirstServes as resource to client to assist in resolving routine questions or to ensure that issues are fieldedResponds to client needs consistently and in a timely fashionCosts projects in iQuote, Job Book, Next Work BenchMonitors and facilitates internal and external operations activities to ensure that all deliverables are running according to project plan and takes action to avoid/resolve problems and/or seeks management assistance if issues are beyond their control.Assists in ordering and monitoring sample.Provides first-level analysis and writes report for review, includes insights of reported dataProvides data summaries for comprehensive reports (e.g. organizes data into logic flow and provides key bullet points on what data charts are illustrating).Serves as resource to client to resolve routine questions and ensures that issues are fielded.Prepares first draft of report, incorporating statistical testing. Designs layout and content.Exposure advanced analytics, including driver analysis (regression, correlation, Shapley values) and segmentation.Assists in drafting straightforward proposals and provides input into more complex onesMay attend pitches with senior team members; Participates in pitches with senior team members.Participates in BU functions and other corporate activities; Participates in BU functions and other corporate activitiesThis might be the job for you if you have:BA minimum; graduate of recognized Market Research program an asset1.5 years Relevant Work ExperienceExperience with quantitative research methodsExposure to Qualitative research methodologiesProject Management ExperienceExperience in supplier side of marketing research (an asset)Experience identifying and writing up analytical findingsStrong analytical skillsStrong numeric and problem-solving orientationStrong client service orientationIf you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage all who feel they might be a fit for the opportunity to apply.
