Job DescriptionSalary :GEMTEC is a growing firm with offices throughout Atlantic Canada and in Ontario, and we are looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Leader (Engineer, Scientist or Project Manager) and Team Lead / Branch Manager to join our team. We seek employees who are versatile, collaborative, and uphold strong values.We are seeking a full-time Senior Leader and Team Lead / Branch Manager to oversee our operations in Northern Ontario; office location to be determined, with a preference for Sudbury or North Bay.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:Educational & Experience Requirements :Bachelor's degree in civil / environmental engineering, mining, or science from an accredited institution; or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.Registered Professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., C.E.T.) with 10+ years of experience in an engineering / science consulting environment.A self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.Ability to present technical information clearly and professionally, both written and verbally.Summary of Main Duties :The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in:Overseeing daily operations of the new office in Northern Ontario, including supervising and mentoring staff.Developing and maintaining client relationships with a service excellence mindset.Leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.Developing project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and efficiency.Managing project aspects such as invoicing, budgeting, scheduling, and scope management.Preparing and reviewing proposals, reports, client contracts, and sub-contracts.Recruting and training new staff as needed.Identifying new market opportunities and undertaking business development initiatives.Managing office administration, budgeting, KPIs, performance reviews, and other operational needs.Adhering to company policies and procedures.Performing other relevant duties as required.Position :Full-time (37.5 hours/week), contract or part-time position.Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with employer match.Paid time off and holidays.Interested individuals, click here to apply :Thank you for considering GEMTEC.
