Workplace Workplace: 4 days on-site, 1 day flexible/remote The Opportunity Our client, a leading Canadian hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of upscale restaurants, event venues, and catering operations across multiple cities, is seeking a Bilingual Accountant to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with established schedules and IFRS standards. Analyze monthly profit and loss statements to identify variances, discrepancies, and areas requiring further review. Oversee all aspects of the month-end close process, including accruals, intercompany transfers, and journal entry preparation and adjustments. Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of reporting and proper ledger maintenance, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed. Collaborate with operations and management teams to understand reporting requirements and provide financial insights to support business decisions. Partner with on-site management teams to coordinate and streamline accounting processes across multiple business units. Communicate regularly with operations staff to resolve account discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy. Prepare and distribute bi-weekly payroll and gratuity reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
