Job Description / Description du poste Responsibilities / Responsabilités Prototype and implement 3Cs (Camera, Controls, Character) and combat systems to ensure seamless and engaging gameplay. Create and implement high‑quality animations for characters, creatures, and other in‑game elements that bring life to the game's world. Animate and implement interactive cinematic scenes in narrative quests. Collaborate with Game Designers and Programmers to ensure the animation supports and enhances the overall gameplay experience. Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to animation and game development, and explore new and emerging technologies to improve the animation process. Ensure that the animations are delivered on time and to the required quality standards. Knowledge / Skills / Compétences Minimum 4 years of experience in animation for video games. Strong knowledge of animation software such as Maya, Motion Builder, or Blender. Have participated in the delivery of at least 1 major video game title. Excellent knowledge of Unreal Engine 5. Rigging/skinning or basic character modeling knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross‑disciplinary teams. Passion for video games and a desire to create high‑quality animations that bring life to the game's world.
