Responsibilities Perform analysis, detailed studies, review plans, and process design tasks for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems, focusing on pipeline structures, under the supervision of a project manager and senior water conveyance engineers. Explore municipal engineering with project work including pipeline design, construction assessment, and rehabilitation. Support construction projects with field site visits and construction observation duties within Saskatchewan. Write and edit technical reports and engineering studies. Prepare plans and specifications for water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities and conveyance pipelines. Coordinate with engineers and technical staff to ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner. Meet with clients, municipal officials, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions. Qualifications Must be a registered Engineer-in-Training or able to obtain within six months. Interest in water, wastewater, and municipal engineering. Strong analytical skillset and ability to apply first principles engineering. Experience with design and/or construction related to one of water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management facilities is preferred. Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license. Education and Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Systems Engineering.
