Lead Interface Engineer - EDM GearboxResponsible for managing system interactions between components and subsystems of the EDM gearbox, reporting to the Chief Engineer across multiple programs.Key Responsibilities include:System integration and balancing of EDM Gearbox hardware componentsCollaboration with Design Release Engineers and Centers of ExcellenceManufacturing support and development validationOrganizing and reviewing hardware design reviews and proposalsManaging virtual analysis, CAE teams, and ensuring completion of virtual DVP/ScorecardLeading DFMEA/DRBFM reviews for driveline systems to ensure design robustnessSupporting cost development and cost roll-ups for programsReviewing change notices and ensuring documentation updatesLeading technical cost reduction and value optimization effortsManaging lessons learned documentation and updatesMonitoring validation status and coordinating review processesManaging cross-functional teams for quality and issue resolutionRequirements:Knowledge of EDM Gearboxes, Drivelines, Axles, or TransmissionsExcellent communication and leadership skillsProblem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and prioritize tasksSelf-motivated with strong organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in driveline, axle, transmission, or powertrain systems engineeringDesign release responsibility for gearbox, driveline, or axleMaster's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or relatedLeadership experience in small teamsKnowledge of powertrain development processes and tools like DFMEA, DVP&RExperience with electric motors in automotive applicationsAbility to manage multiple projects effectivelyStrong system-level thinking and presentation skillsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalentWe offer competitive compensation and benefits.
