Intermediate Software Developer, Cloud Backend (AWS) We’re looking for a motivated Intermediate Software Developer with a strong background in cloud-native backend development on AWS to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You’ll work on high-impact cloud solutions, contribute to design discussions, build scalable APIs, and help drive infrastructure automation. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values clean code, shared learning, and building great solutions together. Skills and Experience you will bring: 3-4 years of Software Development Experience with at least 1 year with Python programming language 3 years of experience developing REST APIs with at least 1 year with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway 1 year of experience with AWS services like IAM, Event Bridge, SNS, SQS, EC2 Experience in troubleshooting and debugging code/processes developed by others A passion for writing unit tests for your code Experience in providing high quality feedback during peer-review to ensure technical accuracy, and high technical standards Experience in writing Infrastructure as Code like Cloud formation, AWS CDK, or Terraform Experience networking concepts like Subnets, VPCs and Security groups Nice to have: Some experience in Open Telemetry Some experience in API spec Some understanding about E2E testing frameworks As part of this role, you will be expected to: Participating in design discussions with Head of Stream Automation, Product Owners and Solution Architects for adding new or improving existing features Taking a feature from scoping requirement to actual launch in our cloud platform Design & document requirements/features/API Close collaboration with UI & QA team Collaborate with SRE team to improve system observability, incident response, and troubleshooting Develop high quality, easily understandable, fully unit tested software satisfying Definition of Done including safe deployment tests Engage with and involve QA team where an integration/end-to-end test is required Learn continuously to improve yourself and mentoring Junior Engineers Participate in peer review of code for technical accuracy, ensuring technical standards are met Office Timing: 1pm to 9pm IST Office Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore, India Work Model: Hybrid/Remote About Evertz: Evertz India is the subsidiary of Evertz Microsystems (TSX:ET) a leading global manufacturer of broadcast equipment and solutions that deliver content to television sets, on-demand services, WebTV, IPTV, and mobile devices (like phones and tablets).
