(specializing in Chemistry and Biology).Explore The Exciting Roles At Forbest AcademyScience Teacher (Online & In-person):Provide personalized and effective one-on-one or group tutoring sessions for students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12.Create tailored lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and the unique learning needs of each student.Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and academic growth.Assist students in understanding challenging scientific concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and/or Biology.Prepare students for AP, SAT, and IB exams by delivering targeted instruction and test-taking strategies.Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to ensure successful outcomes.QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, Science, etc.) with relevant education experience.Strong command of Chemistry and Biology concepts across Kindergarten to Grade 12 levels (preferably in two or more disciplines).Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment requirements of AP and IB programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and communication.Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.NoteOnly apply if you are currently located in the Greater Vancouver Area and can legally work in Canada.Incomplete applications will not be processed.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.Background records checks and/or verification of education credentials may be conducted as part of the hiring process.To streamline your application process, kindly complete the questionnaire provided below: https://forms.gle/9BCgBroggH3FWw2s9.Job DetailsFull-time: At least 30 hours per week.Part-time: Total teaching hours vary based on your availability.Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.Work ScheduleOn-call basis.Teaching from Monday to Friday during after-school and evening hours.Weekend availability for teaching.Teaching schedule adjustments might occur during school holidays.BenefitsGroup Coverage (Full-time teachers only).Regular Gatherings: regular events and activities to foster team camaraderie and enjoyment.Location:#207-5811 Cooney Road, Richmond, BC, Canada, V6X 3M1 (Pacific Business Centre South Tower).Join Forbest Academy and be a part of our mission to shape future leaders through education.
