We are looking for creative, collaborative designers with strong technical skills and an interest in contributing to a wide range of projects and being involved in all aspects of project delivery. Our projects portfolio includes local and regional parks, urban spaces and plazas, complete streets, multi-use trails, transit and transportation facilities and infrastructure, master planning, ecologically based landscapes, design guidelines and related studies. What You Can Expect To Do Here You will work with our team of Landscape Architects, Designers and Arborists in an interdisciplinary environment on a wide range of project types at a range of scales Tasks will include supporting coordination of projects from planning and concept development through implementation; preparation of tender/construction drawings and documents; renderings and 3D visualizations; assistance with site observation activities for landscape projects Active participation and contribution to office activities, initiatives, and learning opportunities What You’ll Bring To WSP A Degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architectural Technology or Architectural Technology Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to quickly develop and articulate different design ideas and project concepts Ability to work independently, show initiative, and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team A collaborative mindset and desire to find creative solutions that are environmentally responsible and technically sound Understanding of project development, design development and construction documentation including, site design, planting design, site grading and construction detailing Strong technical skills including proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office. Proficiency in MicroStation, Civil3D, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, Rhino and GIS strongly desired The following qualifications are considered an asset, but are not requirements Professional experience working in Landscape Architecture Valid driver’s license to conduct site reviews and attend client meetings ISA Certification Bilingualism (English/French) Membership in the OALA Project coordination experience About Us WSP est l’une des plus importantes firmes de services professionnels à travers le monde.
