The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP EWM solutions and implementations, coupled with extensive knowledge of SAP MM/SD modules and their integration with other functional areas. Exposure to the retail industry is highly desirable.The SAP Senior Functional Consultant will be assisting in supply chain management and Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) initiatives for our enterprise clients.The candidate will closely work with technical leads, architects, software engineers, business analysts, in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, candidate is expected to work on gathered requirements from business, design, configuration, testing, deployment and user support for SAP application software. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in an environment where change is constant. ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, implement, and test large scale projects and enhancements in EWM supply chain processesParticipate in the full SDLC (Agile), including iterative development, estimations and design sessionsDeliver high quality project deliverables and assignments on time and within allocated budgetHands on with EWM implementationsCollaborate with architects and cross-functional teams in designing and implementing integrated, enterprise solutionsProvide support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issuesWork with distributed teams across various time zonesCoordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business clientsProvide support for testing and post go-live support on project initiativesStay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM developments and industry trends to drive continuous improvement QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering6+ years total experience as an engineer in SAP environment, includingHands-on experience in following:Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementations4+ years in EWM core implementation4+ years of experience in SAP MM / SD ModulesIn addition, demonstrate:Inbound and Outbound design and configuration for both retail & e-commerce Distribution centersDesign of warehouse processes including technical elements such as warehouse structure like storage types, warehouse process types, put away and stock removal strategies, process & lay out oriented storage controlReplenishment process, customer orders - combined picking (multi step picking)Strong understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modulesProven experience in developing and implementing highly scalable, high performance and stable SAP applicationsKnowledge of Agile system development methodology and prior experience working in an Agile environmentStrong in estimating and planning skills and the ability to clearly write technical specificationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Good to HaveCertification in SAP MM/SD or EWM is a plusPrior exposure to the retail industry is highly desirable What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work with a diverse and talented teamProfessional development and growth opportunitiesA dynamic and collaborative work environment Seniority levelMid-Senior level Employment typeFull-time Job functionInformation Technology IndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Infoya by 2xGet notified about new SAP Functional Consultant jobs in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
