The Program Coordinator/Advisor will be integral in advising and influencing strategic decision making with asset management. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting of projects and programs in support of the business needs.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProvide consultative advice and coordination on project/program management, applying accepted principles, standards, and methods.Support innovation and implementation of improved project/program processes, procedures, and tools.Monitor and track project/program plans, schedules, budgets, and key elements to meet business needs efficiently.Analyze deviations from plans, recommend corrective actions, and conduct sensitivity analyses for strategic changes.Administer change control processes and maintain project/program management policies, standards, and procedures.Stay current on best practices in project/program management, quality management, benchmarking, and performance measurement.Prepare, assess, and maintain project/program documentation, reports, and records; ensure alignment with quality and business principles.Coordinate schedules, resources, and dependencies, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders and supporting problem resolution.QUALIFICATIONS4-year bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Applied SciencePMP, CCP, PSP are considered strong assetsA period of over 6 years and up to and including 8 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.Demonstrated expertise in project and program management, including resource allocation, budgeting, task sequencing, and issue resolution.Proficient in developing, implementing, and auditing compliance with organizational and project-specific policies, standards, and procedures.The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.OPG is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment.
