We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink in our Woodstock office in our Western Ontario region on a Permanent (FT) basis.What the Role EntailsService ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewalsSell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of businessQuote new business through outbound initiatives, introductory letters and walk-in clientsContact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policyPrepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewalsKeep current on underwriting rules and workflow processesActively participate in training initiativesParticipate in community marketing initiativesProcess accounts receivable activitiesProvide guidance and assistance as requestedThe Successful Candidate Will HaveEquivalent skills considered for the roleHigh School and/or post-secondary educationMinimum of 3 years Personal Insurance experience preferredRIBO License requiredExposure to Epic is an assetStrong customer focusDemonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to pass a criminal background check and credit checkPerks and BenefitsFlexible health and dental insurance benefits packagePersonal spending amount to invest in a healthy lifestyleRRSP with company matchingESPP program with company matchingDress for your day according to your scheduleCompetitive compensation package with bonus potentialEmployee discount program (Apple, Bell, Rogers and more)Paid time off including personal days, volunteer days, exam/study time, jury duty and starting at 3 weeks of vacation per yearRecognition as one of Canada’s best employers (e.g., Kincentric 2024)We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.BrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
