Position : Financial Controller Location : Saskatoon SK Organization : BGC Saskatoon - On Site Position Type : Full Time Permanent (35 hours per week) Compensation : Competitive based on education / designation and experience. Eligible for the BGC Saskatoon benefit package after 3 month probationary period. Starting Date : ASAP Are you a financial professional with a passion for community impact BGC Saskatoon is looking for a Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations and support our mission of creating a safe supportive and empowering environment for children youth and families. What Youll Do : Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements. Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning. Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards for not-for-profits. Audit preparation and maintain strong internal controls. Collaborate on grant reporting and fund tracking. What You Bring : CPA designation (preferred) and a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance. 5 years of accounting experience ideally in the nonprofit sector. Strong knowledge of Canadian not-for-profit accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
