Credit Risk Data and Disclosure Advisor

As a credit risk data and disclosure advisor, you help mine and valorize data collected through various channels to support credit risk disclosure. You extract, analyze and interpret the data to make recommendations that facilitate business decisions. You assist clients on various initiatives that involve analyzing data and designing reports tailored to business needs. The nature of the files and projects may require you to develop your curiosity for learning, good organizational skills and the ability to interpret guidelines. You contribute to regulatory capital disclosure (Pillar 3, risk‑weighted assets) and the traditional disclosure of our credit risk indicators. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields to understand needs and present and explain results of analyses. Responsibilities Contribute to regulatory disclosure reports (Pillar 3, disclosures to the AMF, etc.) on credit risk and risk‑weighted assets (RWA) by familiarizing yourself with the IT environment (Ray, SAS, SQL, OBIEE) and mining and analyzing data. Update dashboards and contribute to updates. Help implement or develop controls to detect high‑risk situations, automate our processes and make them simpler and more efficient. Continuously develop and maintain report documentation (data source mapping, execution procedure, business documentation). Address any data quality issues observed, and contribute to resolving the issue, if necessary. Assist with acceptance testing and impact analysis of reports under your responsibility as part of Desjardins Group’s technology modernization projects (credit granting platform, new source systems) to ensure business continuity. Carry out ad hoc analyses and other mandates to gain business insight into the credit portfolio. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of four years of relevant experience in data analytics and disclosure (other combinations may be considered). Knowledge of French is required. Proficiency in data manipulation languages such as SAS and SQL. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of the credit industry. Knowledge of RAY.
