We’re looking for a detail‑driven, highly organized Configuration Control Specialist to join our Design team in Port Alberni, BC on a temporary one‑year basis. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in an inspection role associated with technical documents. 2+ years of experience in configuration control, documentation management, or a similar technical role. 1+ year of experience in the aviation industry. Strong understanding of PLM/ENOVIA systems and documentation control. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical teams. How You’ll Make an Impact: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Structures, and Design teams to ensure accurate routing of new repairs, including support for First Article Inspections (FAI). Maintain and update the Master Drawing List to ensure all engineering stakeholders have access to current, approved documentation. Review technical documents with the Design Manager and design staff, processing design changes such as Design Change Requests (DCR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and Design Change Notifications (DCN). Maintain the Enovia PLM system to ensure engineering reports and technical documents are properly stored, tracked, and controlled. Provide training on technical documentation and configuration management processes. Support special projects assigned by the Design Manager. Ready to learn more?
