OverviewTerritory Manager - Filtration (Edmonton). Parker Hannifin is seeking a results-oriented Territory Manager for Parker's Mobile Aftermarket Team (Baldwin & Racor Filters), a leader in engine mobile filtration. The role offers a culture that empowers employees to make decisions to support and grow the business they manage.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts by understanding their needs and proactively partnering with them as their premier filter partner. This role supports the province of Alberta and requires a high degree of professionalism and experience in developing long-term relationships.ResponsibilitiesEnsures Parker products and services meet customer satisfaction levels and resolves conflicts effectively; advocates the Win Strategy.Offers the customer unique perspectives and understands the individual customer’s value drivers.Identifies economic drivers of the customer’s business and is comfortable discussing money.Develops and maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of Parker group/divisional products, applications, features, advantages and benefits; keeps up with internal and external training and development.Accompanies and assists distributor field sales as required.Provides product training at the distributor and customer levels; motivates and provides sales direction to distributors; assists in the conversion of competitive accounts to Parker.Travel is required about 50% of the time within the territory.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business preferred.Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience required.Filtration, B2B or industrial/mining sales experience an asset.Specific Demonstrated Capabilities & SkillsKeen sense of urgency“Hunter” mentality with solid closing skillsHigh aptitude for sales and a positive, results-oriented growth mindsetExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong computer skills with proficiency in CRM, Outlook, Excel and WordAbility to discover and understand customer’s unmet needsAttention to detail with timely follow-up skillsProfessional appearance and behaviourStrong presentation skills with ability to read audience and tailor presentations to meet needsComfortable with cold calling and developing new businessAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyMeet deadlines, be responsive and accessibleTeam player with a commitment to providing exceptional customer serviceHigh degree of emotional intelligenceMechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical informationStrong negotiation and influencing skillsProven and progressive sales track recordSolid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectivelyOther spoken/written languages an assetCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standingSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesAviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing, and Automation Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
