Join us.Your ImpactReporting to the Director, Credit, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst brings extensive experience in global business credit risk to assist the AR function in ensuring we effectively deliver on our credit risk performance to optimize cash collection and minimize bad debt. You will deliver best-in-class customer experience, change management and partnership skills to ensure stakeholders understand and support our policies, processes and decisions. You will apply best practice, continuously strive for flawless execution on every integration.What the Role OffersResponsible to assist in developing and executing on credit risk strategy and solutions, including researching best-in-class automation on credit approval processesResponsible to work with leaders and AR peers in maintaining and improving credit granting and collections processes and practices to optimize cash collection and minimize bad debt expenseAssist in partnering with Sales and other stakeholders to effectively deliver on our credit approval cycle time/SLAAssist in approving payment term requests as requiredAssist Sales, other key stakeholders and external customers by ensuring the appropriate discussions are completed on time for credit requests not approved to provide alternative credit limit recommendations, if applicable, that support revenue while protecting AR assetsUsing established account monitoring systems and tools to evaluate a customer\'s financial position, including analyzing their financial statements, ensure any material changes in customer\'s financial position are identified and actioned appropriately to minimize bad debt riskAssist your leader in Acquisition Integration activitiesAssist your leader in working with stakeholders and partners to improve credit risk and approval strategies to support revenue growthAssist your leader in other projects/initiatives as assigned to deliver on best-in-class process and practice for the Credit Risk functionEducationWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDCollege/University BA, Business or FinanceCPP DesignationCompletion or enrolment in CCP or Accounting Designation program an assetSkills And ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ B2B credit experience, preferably in a global software services/high tech environmentDemonstrated success influencing change on Credit Risk understandingStrong customer service mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication and change management skills, specifically with Sales and external CustomersStrong working knowledge on accounting principles, with demonstrated success evaluating company financial statements to establish Credit Risk parametersStrong organization and time management skills, with demonstrated success managing multiple prioritiesStrong working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Office productsSelf-starter with a continuous improvement mindsetStrong team player, understanding that you deliver as a team and it is always best when you collaborate to find solutions to problemsDemonstrated ability to drive a culture of learning with peers and help them be resilient in a continuously changing environmentBilingual an assetEqual OpportunityOpenText\'s efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
