Senior Hydrogeologist, Contaminated Sites Join to apply for the Senior Hydrogeologist, Contaminated Sites role at Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. (MEMS) is looking for a Senior Contaminant Hydrogeologist with a M.Sc. degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a consulting environment. Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation, environmental assessment processes, and risk‑based approaches is required. Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills are preferred. The successful candidate must be self‑motivated, work effectively in a multi‑disciplinary setting, and have a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Scope and manage hydrogeological studies for assessment, remediation, risk management, or exposure control projects. Provide technical direction, oversight, mentoring, and implementation in the development of conceptual site models and file reviews. Manage data preparation and supervise calculations or inputs for numerical groundwater models. Act as a senior reviewer for contaminant hydrogeology work. Generate risk‑based recommendations based on hydrogeological assessments. Compile complex datasets, develop conceptual site models, and devise creative solutions for contaminated sites. Collaborate with MEMS project technical staff to deliver hydrogeology services to clients. Communicate with clients and internal personnel as required. Make responsible decisions independently or within a team. Promote staff career development, mentorship, and technical excellence. Contribute to technical resources and training to improve the hydrogeology group. Participate in staff recruitment and external promotion of MEMS. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of directly related experience as a Contaminant Hydrogeologist, preferably in a consulting environment. Master of Science degree from an accredited institution. Eligible for membership in a relevant professional organization. Valid, non‑GDL Class 5 driver’s licence. Proficiency in risk assessment and/or groundwater modelling is advantageous.
