POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented engineering co‑op student to join our Vehicle Applications team. As a Student Vehicle Applications Engineer, you will support the coordination and documentation of engineering projects, assist with custom bus configurations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to help ensure technical requirements are clearly defined and delivered. This position offers valuable exposure to product development, customer requirements management, and real‑world engineering processes. Inclusive workplace culture that values and empowers team members. WHAT YOU WILL DO Support the Vehicle Applications team in preparing and maintaining engineering documentation. Assist in reviewing customer specifications and identifying key technical requirements. Participate in developing and releasing initial Bills of Materials (iBoMs) under supervision. Help coordinate communication between internal engineering teams and other departments. Conduct research and collect data to support technical evaluations and configuration decisions. Contribute to project tracking, documentation updates, and configuration change control. Support continuous improvement activities and process documentation within the team. Collaborate with engineers on design changes, testing, and configuration reviews. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL Currently enrolled in a recognized post‑secondary engineering program and eligible for co‑op placement. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Unigraphics/Siemens NX, AutoCAD) is an asset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
