As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing an excellent customer experience and ensure fans can get the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support your Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets. What You’ll Do Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, using product knowledge and customer service skills. Step in and provide leadership support to help run the store when the Store Manager is unavailable. Understand store sales plan and goals; help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT. Cover the sales floor zone and maintain visual standards; assist with opening and closing the store. Operate the register, process sales transactions, and drive add-on sales; close out the register and report shortages or overages to the Store Manager. Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixtures, and merchandising mix. Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners. Work with Store Management to minimize theft and misuse of spells and wizardry around theft. Support stock room organization and store tidiness. Train and coach new Sales Associates to help them acclimate quickly to the team. Any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader. What You’ll Need Previous experience in a retail environment. If you love music and pop culture, you’re in the right place Strong customer service and selling skills. A High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Collaborative and capable communication; leadership qualities. The usual retail requirements: able to stand and move around during scheduled hours, reach for merchandise, and lift up to 50 pounds.
