OverviewWe are hiring talented Cloud Database Systems Developers to help us build the data management engines that power SAP HANA Cloud and integrate them with applications and services in the broader SAP Business Technology Platform.Role: Cloud Database Systems Developer at SAPResponsibilitiesDesign and prototype interfaces between data management services and the full suite of SAP cloud services and applicationsEvaluate and improve performance of data-driven full stack applicationsEnsure the highest degree of security for data managed by our softwareContribute to complicated technical projects that involve a wide variety of teams within the companyUtilize problem-solving skills to help prevent and investigate production issuesParticipate in a shared on-call rotationQualificationsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, or an equivalent degreeAt least two of the following (each with 5+ years of experience):5+ years of experience writing or maintaining mission-critical system software5+ years of experience writing SQL queries or managing relational database systems5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Spark, Delta Tables, etc.)5+ years of programming SAP business applicationsStrong skills in at least one of Python, Go, Node.js or ABAPExperience with at least one of X.509 or JWT authenticationExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of concurrent and distributed programmingAttention to detail and ability to build reliable and scalable software systemsEffective communication and collaboration skillsWillingness to persist at debugging and resolving complex technical issuesSelf-driven motivation and a strong work ethicCompany and CultureSAP enables you to bring out your best.
