We are looking for a  Learning & Development Specialist to join our dynamic Obsidi Academy team. We are building a global network and want to bring on a Learning Operations & Logistics professional with the hustle and experience to elevate and finesse our Obsidi Academy processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role at BPTN.  As our  Learning & Development Specialist , you’ll be an integral part of Obsidi Academy with a focus on execution and ensuring that processes and procedures are running efficiently both internally for Obsidi Academy and between Obsidi business units and third party vendors.

Position Summary:    Learning & Development Specialist  will support the Head of Learning & Development & Obsidi Academy and the Obsidi Academy Team in the evolution, iteration, maintenance, and implementation of Obsidi Academy’s standard operating procedures, processes, and lifecycle methodologies associated with Obsidi Academy’s product-to-market lifecycle; focused on, the learning operations and logistics of Obsidi Academy to include but not limited to: participant selection, psychometric assessments, bootcamp and instructional lifecycle, background checks, onboarding/offboarding, and the Obsidi Academy learner and engagement experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the administrative work and general administrative duties as assigned related to Obsidi Academy’s day-to-day internal lifecycle, operations and logistics.
In collaboration with the Head of Obsidi Academy, develop, maintain, iterate, and implement the standard operating procedures and processes associated with Obsidi Academy’s operational and logistics lifecycle of the Obsidi Academy bootcamp and respective cohorts, to include but not limited to: participant selection, psychometric assessments, bootcamp and instructional lifecycle, background checks, onboarding and offboarding, Obsidi Academy learner and engagement experience, learner engagement surveys (using Survey Monkey), learning assets, partner experience, and respective deliverables.
Ensure that Obsidi Academy’s operational and logistics lifecycle procedures and processes are agile, dynamic, and specifically designed to ensure a successful participant Obsidi Academy experience.
Supports the Obsidi Academy team to track towards milestones and deadlines.
Collaborates with and supports the Obsid Academy instructors with the bootcamp and instructional operations and logistics, to include but not limited to: gradebook monitoring and maintenance, student meetings, supporting content updates in the LMS, and bootcamp instructional logistics.
Monitor, actively engage and post, and coordinate/respond to instructor and student Slack messages and help requests.
Collaborates cross-functionally with other BPTN business units; i.e., HR, Operations, Marketing, Technology, etc.
Monitor, accurately respond to/source answers from within Obsidi, refer and/or redirect Obsidi Academy communications (email, social posts, calls etc.) from/to staff, clients (i.e., Obsidi Academy Partners), and the public relating to Obsidi Academy questions, concerns, or feedback.
Assist in the compilation of data for various reports (e.g., learning metrics, ROI, Impact) as required.
Familiar with support platforms and applications for learning management, document creation, project management, ticket system tools, virtual meetings, surveys, recruitment, and social media/messaging. (e.g., Coding Rooms, Google Workspace, MS 365, Asana, Confluence, Zoom, Teams, Survey Monkey, Criteria, Slack, etc.).
Prepare and update Obsidi Academy contracts, memos, and participant and partner related emails/communications.
Assists in and/or independently collects and analyzes data, compiles information, and prepares appropriate statistics, metrics, queries, and summary reports both ongoing and ad hoc using an LMS, HRIS, recruitment platform, and other reporting tools/platforms.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Learning/Training, Human Resources or related field.
Learning/Training certification highly desired

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who embodies the following:
5+ years of administrative/operational/coordinator experience within a bootcamp/learning/training in tech industry or business or operational function.
3+ years of planning, scheduling, supporting, and/or coordinating virtual training/learning logistics
Exceptional attention to detail and sets high standards for quality of product and deliverables.
Ability to prioritize, assess urgency of tasks, and pivot as needed to keep pace with the business.
Exhibits a high degree of professionalism.
Self-motivated learner who is interested to grow in an agile and fast-paced matrix tech start-up.
Good team player, able to collaborate successfully, build effective working relationships across business lines and functions, and accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals and groups.
Proactively collaborates with others to generate ideas and improve processes.
Thrives in ambiguity and solutioning and is a proactive initiator and offers solutions to mitigate risk and resolve issues.
Excellent organizational and management skills.
Strong interpersonal, active listening, and oral and written communication skills.
Preferred experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) and Asana.
Competent user of MS 365 and Google Workspace.
