Our main laboratory facilities are located in Ottawa and are supported by an environmental lab in Hamilton and microbiology and asbestos laboratories in Mississauga. Our client base primarily consists of major environmental consultants, all levels of government and industrial manufacturers located predominantly in Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara, Eastern and Southwestern Ontario.The OpportunityParacel Laboratories Ltd. is actively searching for a Finance Administrator to join our team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent role at 2315, St Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 4J8.Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Finance Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the Finance team, owning responsibility for AP and AR functions. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, driven to meet deadlines and has advanced Microsoft Excel skills.ResponsibilitiesPost transactions and provide analytical and clerical support for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, HR and PayrollPerform bank account and credit card reconciliationsPrepare client statements for Account Managers in support of client collectionsRecord employee\'s banked hours and expense reportsPrepare EHT and WSIB calculationsQualificationsFormal post-secondary training in accounting3-5 years related experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General AccountingExperience with and knowledge of accounting software, MS Windows, MS Word, InternetDemonstrated proficiency at MS Excel functions: Subtotal, Vlookup, Pivot Table, SUMIF and formattingAny experience with large multi-module cloud accounting systems (especially Dynamics NAV/ MS D365 Business Central) will be considered a great assetExcellent English verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional team and workflow management skillsSuperb attention to detail and accuracyHighly reliable and deadline-drivenAbility to work well independently and with a teamStrong analytical, data management and problem-solving skillsHow to ApplyIn addition to your resume, please include a cover letter.
