We are actively searching for a Site Manager to complement our skills and to take on challenging and exciting projects. The Site Manager must have the ability to effectively manage the construction site and to ensure all safety practices are adhered to. The successful candidate will be very detail oriented and self-motivated. This is a full-time position.Key Responsibilities:Site supervision for commercial interiors, new ground-up construction, and base building renovationsEstablish effective communication with clients, designers, subtrades & suppliersUnderstand the designer’s intent and figure out the best way to achieve itUnderstand the client’s goals and figure out the best way to achieve themTake full responsibility for the job site and overall supervision and coordination of daily activitiesAssist with resolving change requests, design issues and construction puzzlesMonitor job progress & schedulingOversee and direct B&V labourersEnsure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures and reportingWork closely with the Project Manager & Project CoordinatorQualifications:Superior customer service & understanding of the Art of HospitalityMinimum of 10 years of Site Superintendent construction experienceKnowledge of local Building CodeCurrent knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety ActKnowledge of sustainability programs such as LEED would be an assetExceptional communication and organizational skillsEnergetic, positive and can-do attitude requiredValid driver’s license requiredBoszko & Verity Inc. is a construction company that values good design.
