This is a senior-level technical delivery role responsible for drawing production, consultant coordination, and construction detailing from design development through construction administration. The ideal candidate has deep local knowledge, extensive experience producing coordinated construction document sets, and the confidence to lead both internally and externally.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical documentation through all project phases, with a strong focus on detailed, coordinated drawing sets for concrete high-rise residential and mixed-use podium/tower buildingsOversee and guide Revit production, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to office standardsCoordinate day-to-day with structural, mechanical, electrical, envelope, and specialty consultants; lead resolution of technical issues and clashesDevelop and review complex construction details, assemblies, and building envelope transitions for constructability and performanceAttend and contribute to consultant, client, and site meetings alongside partners in charge; track actions and ensure follow-throughSupport construction phase activities including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, issuing SIs/CCNs, and conducting field reviewsEnsure alignment with BCBC, VBBL, and municipal processes, including permit, rezoning, and development submissionsMentor and support intermediate and junior staff, fostering growth in detailing, technical thinking, and Revit workflowsQualificationsArchitectural Technology diploma or equivalent education10+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years of local experienceProven track record delivering coordinated construction document sets for complex concrete high-rise and mixed-use projectsAdvanced proficiency in Revit, including familiarity with families, worksharing, and BIM standardsStrong understanding of BCBC, VBBL, and local authority requirementsSkilled in building envelope detailing, assemblies, and constructability principlesExcellent communication and coordination abilities; comfortable leading meetings and driving technical decisionsOrganized, accountable, and proactive, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for well-built architectureWhat’s On OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experience and responsibilityComprehensive extended health and dental benefitsFlexible hybrid work model with an emphasis on in-office collaborationProfessional development support and opportunities for advancement into senior leadership rolesA thoughtful, mentorship-focused studio culture that values initiative, quality, and long-term growthApply today or reach out directly to Dara at dchita@talentsphere.ca to learn more.
