Overview Store Leader Trainee role at 7-Eleven. The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store. A Store Leader with an Assistant or two makes up the store’s leadership team, executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, developing the skills of the entire store team, and ensuring customers are well taken care of. If you enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience, we would love to talk with you about our Store Leader Trainee role We’re hiring immediately Responsibilities Lead the store team with an Assistant or two to execute merchandising and marketing initiatives, drive profitability, and develop staff skills. Ensure excellent customer service and store appearance; maintain clean, safe, and in-stock conditions. Utilize store reports and P&L data to drive improvements. Oversee cash handling, fuel transactions, and the promotion of our rewards loyalty program. Manage multi-tasking and coaching to maintain high performance and retention. Desire to maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity. Ability to oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs. Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change. Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of rewards program. Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures to ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in-stock. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel). A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required with at least one year of retail management experience. A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
