Account Manager | National Industrial Recruiter @ Northern Employment | Full Cycle Recruitment The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Chartered Accountant for a management opportunity located in Sudbury, Ontario. This is an in person on‑site position. The successful individual will provide financial support to the business. Responsibilities: Ensuring the monthly and quarterly reporting processes are met and executed. Compiling information for the Business Review Process. Supporting the Finance Manager with on‑time reporting, forecasting and cash‑flow management to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. Compiling and utilizing financial reports as a management tool for continuous business performance and improvement cash‑flow management. Preparing the audit and tax packs for interim and year‑end reporting. Supporting the reconciliation of fixed‑assets accounts and ensuring monthly reviews of the asset register. Identifying potential issues in accounts payable/receivable to the respective parties. Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger. Compiling corporate income tax, HST, GST and PAYE returns. Liaising with tax advisors in the North American region to ensure compliance with the relevant tax authorities. Ensuring annual audit preparation processes are in place and implemented. Supporting the review and/or development of accounting policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant accounting frameworks and statutory compliance. Managing the finance function and relevant personnel on a day‑to‑day basis. Actively supporting a manufacturing environment in reviewing costs allocated to products through the ERP system and accurate costing within the system. Supporting the review of weekly payroll submissions and ensuring data captured in the ERP is accurate. Requirements: Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting. 5 years of demonstrated experience in financial management. 3 years of demonstrated experience managing personnel/staff. 2 years of experience working with multi‑currencies.
