Come join our teamWhat you’ll doManage a portfolio of intermediate complexity AB claims from initial assignment to closureInvestigate motor vehicle accident injury claimsDetermine policy coverage, establish and adjust financial reserves, and comply with the applicable accident benefits legislationProvide excellent customer service by focusing on customer needs, communicating in a manner that is simple and easy to understand, and proactively handling the claim to closureGather information and evaluate it at its earliest stage from the customers, health practitioners, employers, police, plaintiff lawyers, accountants, other insurers, etc.Make decisions by considering all information, consulting resources, and pulling on expertise when requiredTake action that is fair and reasonable from the perspective of the customerActively participate in coaching and training sessions, and collaborate with team membersTake an active role in creating an environment of continuous improvement, avoid waste work and highlight value workActively seek opportunities to challenge value demandWhat you’ll bringUniversity degree/college diploma and CIP designation or working towards designation preferred2+ years of Accident Benefits adjusting experienceSolid understanding of accident benefit legislation and claims management principlesExcellent customer service and communication skillsDemonstrate organizational skills for optimal file handlingAbility to adapt and work with various computer programs and softwareBilingualism is an assetEligibility to be licensed in NFLD, NB and PEIWhat You’ll GetPlease note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.Outstanding Career Development opportunities.We’ll support your professional development education.Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per yearEmployee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusionCorporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental healthPlease note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
