Senior Retail Operations Advisor, HABS

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Retail Operations Advisor, HABS on a permanent basis on our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and can be based in Saskatoon, SK or Regina, SK. Although you will not be required to come into the office on a regular basis, the job will require you to travel to local Co-ops across Saskatchewan up to 70%. As a Senior Retail Operations Advisor, you’ll be a strategic partner to Local Co-ops—coaching leaders, optimizing sales and profitability, and executing key initiatives aligned with FCL’s HABS Vision and Strategy. If this interests you, come join our team today What you’ll do: Drive budgeted sales for assigned Local Co-ops by identifying opportunities, creating action plans, and coaching managers on execution. Develop and implement strategies to enhance profitability for priority locations through operational reviews and leadership support. Oversee renovations, expansions, and new store setups, including merchandising, CASM placement, and grand opening coordination. Ensure compliance with merchandising standards, store layouts, and image guidelines to optimize customer experience and sales. Share feedback on local market conditions, pricing, and promotions while acting as a link between Local Co-ops and Home Office. Identify future leaders, coordinate training programs, and assist in creating long-term succession plans with HR teams. Who you’ll work with:You will work closely with Local Co-op Management to encourage full support and execution of FCL strategic initiatives and programs. You will also work with fellow Zone Lumber Operations Advisors and Zone Operations leadership to support and help implement overall location HABS operational, sales and profitability objectives. You will report into the Manager, HABS Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, expertise, and results. Who you are:You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and : Have 6-9 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management with direct exposure to hardware and/or building materials. Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
