Job details Location Windsor , ON N8W 5X2 Salary 21.00 to 40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 55 hours per week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, On call, Overtime available Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting General manufacturing Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Set up and adjust production machineries/tools Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Experience and specialization Measuring tools Micrometers Callipers Equipment and machinery experience Milling machines Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Basic security clearance Transportation/travel information Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Accurate Flexibility Initiative Team player Quick learner Other benefits Free parking available Who can apply for this job?
