Job Description Responsibilities Design and analysis of structures, buildings, foundations, and piles. Work ranges from simple foundations and structures to complex structures, with dynamic considerations frequently involved in dealing with vibratory equipment loads and earthquake forces. Design and analysis of roads and drainage. Coordination of Civil/Structural project components over the life of the project. Responsible for Civil/Structural engineering aspects on any given project. Involved in the total project early in career development; from preliminary site feasibility studies and basic design criteria through the actual design and construction of site layout, foundations, structures and buildings. Career Paths Develop into a Lead Civil / Structural Engineer responsible for completing engineering and design on projects. Develop into a Lead Technical Civil / Structural Engineer responsible for technical oversight on projects. Develop into a technical Subject Matter Expert to support multiple projects and Fluor offices globally. Develop into Engineering Managers on projects directing multi‑discipline engineering efforts. Develop into Project Engineers and Project Managers. Basic Job Requirements Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2025/2026. A Structural minor with courses in structural (concrete and steel) design. Geotechnical and civil courses are an asset. Field and design experience is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Other Job Requirements To be considered for this position you must submit a copy of your current Resume and Transcripts.
