About Our Client Our client is sourcing aSenior Risk Analyst for a 6-month contract. About the Opportunity Assess insolvency risk of CIRO Member Firms (Investment Dealers and Mutual Fund Dealers) Analyze Member Firms’ financial filings, business operations, and capital adequacy Monitor financially distressed firms by liaising with CIRO Managers / Examiners Research and evaluate operational, market, credit, and liquidity risks tied to new products, exemptions, and industry trends Review CIRO correspondence and assess impact of capital policy changes Support quarterly and integration assessment processes, including validation and calculation of assessment model inputs and outputs Validate Client Net Equity (CNE) deductions, Asset Locations, and determine Capital Deficiency Assessments Explain Risk Ratings and Assessments to Member Firms as needed Administer Assessment Appeal Procedures and ensure compliance with documentation and communication standards Prepare analysis and reports for Risk Committee, identifying key risks and proposing mitigation solutions Assist in administration of insolvent Member Firms and support special reviews or assignments About You CPA designation, or CSE Relevant experience in audit or regulatory, wealth management, brokerages Exposure to CIRO / IIROC rules, filings, and brokerage back-office operations, compliance / regulatory Strong Excel and data analysis skills Familiarity with risk assessments and capital adequacy principles How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
