Sessional Lecturer, Anthropology The Department of Anthropology, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2025-2026 Winter session: Course Number, Section, and Name: ANTH 231.03 (02), Cross Cultural Perspectives on Health and Illness Term and Course Dates: Term Two (January 6th, 2026 to April 7th, 2026) CRN: 23280 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture in person Course Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 2:30 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. Expected Enrollment Limit: 79 Qualifications: While a PhD in Anthropology or a related discipline is preferred, candidates with a Master’s degree in hand or imminently expected (i.e., all but defense, subject to confirmation) will be considered. Teaching and/or research experience in Medical Anthropology is mandatory. A valid driver’s license is required for off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
