OverviewAccount Manager/Directeur (trice) de comptes at AVI-SPL Canada. This role focuses on generating sales for Audio Visual systems, developing and maintaining client relationships, and expanding the company’s current client base. Must be bilingual and located in the Ottawa region.What You’ll DoGenerate sales for Audio Visual systems through developing and maintaining client relationships and expanding the company’s current client base.Day-To-Day ResponsibilitiesIdentify sales prospects within assigned territory and provide accurate forecasts and activity reports to managementAnalyze cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executedExhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer\'s visual collaboration needsDevelop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate and profitablePrepare contracts and pricing strategies for target accounts and submit all required documentationWork with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installationResponsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plans to expand existing client base and generate new business to meet established quotaAttend and participate in weekly office sales meetingsMeet or exceed aggressive monthly gross profit quotaDesign and implement focused prospecting tools such as webinars, seminars and email campaigns to increase sales and expand our customer base in the designated territoryEstablish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnelActively use internal databases to complete client contact information, provide detailed notes and track pending activitiesFollow up on leads within 24 hours of client inquiryRepresent company at technological briefings and trade shows as assignedParticipate in training and professional development activities as prescribed by managementMonitor non-installed product commissions on a weekly basis to ensure timely completion by the end of the monthMust-HavesWhat We’re Looking ForAbility to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customersAbility to balance multiple tasks with changing prioritiesAbility to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretionExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsMust have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externallyProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organizationMust be bilingual in English and French, written and spokenEducation And ExperienceMinimum High school diploma or equivalentA four-year degree is preferredAt least 5-7 years\' experience of direct selling in the AV/VTC area is a preferredWhy You’ll Like Working HereRobust onboarding plan including job shadowingTraining and professional development opportunitiesOn-site training and other learning opportunitiesPaid holidays, stat days and flex daysCompetitive wagesMedical benefits, including vision, health, dental and RRSP matchingWorld class tools to help you succeedEnjoyable and dynamic company cultureMore About UsAt AVI-SPL Canada Ltd., we proudly boast our core values - build connections, be trailblazers, own it, do the right thing, thrive together.
