Location Kamloops, BC Position Overview Civil Project Manager – Lead a team and plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of civil projects, including infrastructure upgrades, subdivision developments, water, sewer, drainage and transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities Manage multiple civil projects such as infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments, including design and construction of water, sewer, drainage, and transportation infrastructure. Provide technical guidance to a team of EITs and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specifications. Carry out estimates of project costs, analysis and calculations, design review, and prepare reports, proposals and contract documentation. Build business relationships with current and potential clients. Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations. Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standards. Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors. Proactively resolve performance, scope, and schedule issues as they arise. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in British Columbia. 8+ years of relevant experience in municipal engineering and project management. Experience with infrastructure projects, including roads, water systems, drainage, and developments. Experience preparing civil designs, tender documents, cost estimates, technical reports, studies, and proposals. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and project leaders. Experience leading and overseeing projects, managing teams (internal or external), and following Allnorth’s project management and quality standards. Strong project management, technical and analytical skills. Strong technical writing skills demonstrated through writing correspondence, reports and proposals. Effective verbal communication, including presentation, facilitation and listening skills. Ability to work independently and in a team; mentor and work with junior engineers and designers.
