We are proud to play a key role in accelerating Canada’s energy sustainability and achieving its net-zero goals and we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset when it comes to achieving that goal.About the role:As a Manufacturing Engineering II you will support delivery of project manufacturing activities and deliverables to ensure customer commitments are met.You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and be located on-site at our Peterborough, Ontario, facility.Key Responsibilities:Detailed planning for manufacturing activities related to project deliveriesCoordinate tasks related to preparation for manufacturing activities (e.g. ordering of tooling, fixturing, consumables)Identify and lead continuous improvement plans in the manufacturing operationHelp implement manufacturing activities on customer projects by providing technical input/oversight on planned tasksLead the manufacturing team members through emergent technical challenges, including the assessment and dispositioning of manufacturing non-conformancesQualifications:Bachelor in engineering requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environmentExperience with manufacturing techniques, welding procedures or specifications and associated inspection techniques.Experience working in a team environment.Westinghouse offers great benefits to all our employees around the globe to keep them healthy and enhance their well-being.
