Exceptional opportunity to work with a highly committed and talented fundraising team to make a significant difference for people living with CancerWellspring is a Canada-wide charity consisting of a network of community-based centres and online programs provided at no charge and without referral, to anyone, with any type of cancer, at any stage in their journey. Wellspring charges no fees and receives no core government funding. Programs and operations are made possible only through the generosity of donors and funds raised through donations, sponsorships, and special events.As a member of this gifted fundraising team, you will help to set and meet major gift ($10,000+) targets; qualify, cultivate and solicit donors; help build and maintain the donor pipeline, including database tracking; write letters of intent and proposals; prepare packages, presentations, etc.; liaise with potential donors to identify alignments and targeted approaches for support; research prospective major gift donors; cultivate and steward major donors.This position is based at Wellspring Westerkirk House, 105 Wellness Way, Toronto, Ontario M4N 0B1 (on the campus of the Sunnybrook Hospital). If desired, you can work from home up to two days a week.Requirements:Proven track record in fundraising with a minimum of 2+ years of success working with major gift donorsDemonstrated effectiveness in building, nurturing, and leveraging strong relationships with donorsDemonstrated commitment to accountability, measuring outcomes in a results-oriented cultureExceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsThe salary range for this position is: $80,000-$90,000 plus a competitive benefits package.If you have the above qualifications and would like to support Wellspring’s mission of helping individuals and families living with cancer, please apply to Eva Thurlow with cover letter and résumé at hr@wellspring.ca .
