As an independent contracted Financial Advisor, you will build strong community ties and cultivate long-term client relationships. Using our exclusive technology, tools, and processes, you will help Canadians assess, define, and implement solutions to meet their financial security needs.ResponsibilitiesProspect new clients, discuss risk management and financial goals, and conduct reviews to empower informed decisions.Cultivate community relationships to increase agency visibility and maximize business opportunities.Develop and implement business, operational, and marketing plans supporting community resilience.Recruit, coach, mentor team members, and manage performance to meet agency goals.Maintain required licenses, ensure ethical compliance, and adhere to policies and regulations.What to ExpectRegularly meet clients and community members outside the office.Require own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.Support clients experiencing personal or financial loss with confidentiality and discretion.Undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History check if hired.Success FactorsRemain focused and optimistic, managing sales portfolios effectively.Expand market reach with innovative, client-centric strategies.Communicate persuasively and facilitate solutions.Lead change and foster a high-performance team aligned with organizational goals.Use critical thinking and strategic planning to adapt to priorities.Qualifications3-5 years management or related experience in insurance.Post-secondary education in a related field.Hold a Life license and General Insurance license; a Mutual Funds license is an asset.Working towards or completed professional designations like CFP, CLU, CHFC, or similar.What We OfferTraining and development opportunities.Community involvement opportunities.Competitive salary ($80,000 - $90,000) plus commission and benefits.Note: Salary varies based on experience, location, and qualifications.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Finance and SalesReferrals can double your chances of interview success.
