Your strategic thinking and expertise will make a real difference; we can't wait to welcome you In This Position, You Will Have The Opportunity To Plan, develop, organize, carry out, and evaluate activities related to recruitment, integration, and retention of personnel. Ensure internal and external postings. Organize training and skills development activities. Provide advisory support on issues related to human resources management and labor relations for unionized employees. Apply labor and CNESST standards, health and safety requirements, the psychological and sexual harassment prevention policy, the pay equity policy, and other legal obligations. Draft and update various internal documents and communications. Be responsible for organizing special events (social activities, etc.) and the employee recognition program. Ensure the dissemination of human resources‑related content on social media to promote internal initiatives and strengthen the employer brand. Act as the main point of contact for employees and management (responding to emails, calls, following up on files, etc.). Develop tools and procedures to improve the efficiency of HR management. Support managers and teams in adopting best HR practices. Implement HR policies and tools tailored to the organization. Develop initiatives to promote engagement, communication, and well‑being in the workplace. Payroll and benefits (35% of your time) Manage and monitor the vacation schedule in collaboration with senior management and team leaders. Prepare, process, and distribute employee paychecks in a timely manner. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of employee paychecks. Maintain up‑to‑date payroll records and employee information. Calculate hours worked, leave, deductions, and bonuses. Manage contributions to pension plans, insurance, and other benefits. Ensure tax deductions are made in accordance with laws and regulations. With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role: University degree (Bachelor's) in human resources management or a related field. Member in good standing of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (an asset). Proficiency in payroll software and human resources information systems (Nethris, HRIS). At least three to five years of experience in a similar role (HR/Payroll Processing). Knowledge of provincial and federal tax and labor laws and regulations, as well as HR best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to advise, support, and act as an agent of change. High degree of autonomy, organizational skills, and versatility.
