As a driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:Safely operating various garbage trucks on specified routes to collect solid waste.Reading route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.Having professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed.Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.What We Need From You:Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience with a clean abstract.Class 3 or higher driver’s license.Excellent spatial skills to position vehicle and bins effectively and drive accident free.Effective communication skills to convey information to dispatcher and customers.Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.What You’ll Get From Us:Wage - $32.49 per hour, Full TimeBenefits: Full Benefit package after 3 months of serviceAnnual boot and clothing allowanceRetirement Plan with company match; let us help you save for your futurePerks, perks, perks Employee Assistant Program, Scholarship Opportunities for kids, Employee Stock Purchase PlanInsurance: Life, Short Term/Long Term DisabilityWaste Connections of Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
