Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager located in Orillia, ON. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control measures, conducting audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing quality assurance processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring that products meet the required standards.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of ISO 9001, develop, implement, and maintain the quality management program;
Performing quality audits, establish quality standards using defined and measurable metrics;
Train all employees to meet quality standards in all areas of the production process;
Work closely with sales, customer service and the operations team to address customer complaints;
Implement investigation process for managing complaints from start to finish;
Manage the internal auditing program by performing daily/weekly audits;
Develop and Implement quality corrective action process;
Provide training to employees and management on quality standards and practices;
Participate in weekly production meetings providing quality updates;
Monitor finished products to confirm their compliance with quality standards and remove and contain those which fail to comply;
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Skill Set:
· Command of the written English language
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 [preferred]
· Internal ISO 9001 auditor [preferred]
· Excellent Interpersonal skills
· Excellent presentation skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
Experience in implementing and managing quality control systems
Ability to conduct audits and inspections to identify process inefficiencies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in plastic film and bag production, is preferred
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to plastic film and bag production is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Manufacturing, is preferred
