Position Summary
Primary responsibility is to support the Traffic Manager through timely communication and recording of actual and pending product shipments. Secondary duties are to provide assistance to the Traffic Supervisor ensuring shipments continue unabated during vacation and absences.

Responsibilities
Create weekly shipping reports for top ten dealers.
Build and maintain strong customer relations with key accounts.
Be the liaison between the customer, the sales team and plant operations.
Fax Bills of Lading to Dealers daily.
Update MK Manufacturing software on all shipments.
Answer customer inquiries (internal and external) on shipped goods and order status.
Provide spot quote for customers (internal and external)
Provide back up to ship goods when Traffic Coordinator is absent.
Filing of Shipping documents as required.
Other duties may be assigned.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
The incumbent must have solid interpersonal skills both spoken and written, be computer literate (MS Office including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Worldwide Web etc.).
Should be a Team Player, be able to plan and organize workflow to reach goals, be dependable and professional. Must have strong phone communication skills.
Capable of learning and communicating product information.
