Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Consulting Services helps top-tier clients solve their most complex business and technical issues. As Solution Architect, the candidate will lead and contribute to the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions based on Web/Rich User Interface technologies, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and middleware technologies for multiple clients, participating in the design, development, testing and deployment process.

In this role, the incumbent designs solutions from Maximo applications to automate business processes and meet business needs.
The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be integrated to multiple software packages and custom components. This role defines best practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data, and the development of the application, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools.
Business Transformation Consultants are responsible for applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity. They are also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability. The architect interfaces with the client ensuring the client gets maximum value from Maximo implementation.
Specific tasks include working with IBM clients to: Identify and challenge several scenarios by considering the business environment
You are responsible for design, development, testing and support of reports, interfaces, data conversions and enhancements using IBM Maximo and related tools
Collaboratively co-create a Business Strategy for the client organization
Deliver flexible, fit-for-purpose Operating Models to meet the client’s unique business needs and culture goals
Use considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems
Ideate with clients to identify and analyze complex business challenges.
Contribute to effort to define and implement to the organization processes and a strategy to demonstrate the success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 6 - 8 years of relevant experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management
Relevant experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management version 7.5 or higher
Expertise on Maximo Integration Framework, Maximo Object Structures, Rules configurations.
Experience of Integration setup with External system, Data Extrations and Data Loading, Data Integrity validations, error resolutions.
Proficient with data Data Mapping and Transformations based on business needs.
Exposure to ArcGIS , integration for maps and implementation of Maximo Spatial.
Validated experience on Data Flow design, Functional & Technical Documentations.
Ability to Design, Build, Configure & Customize applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Maximo Upgrade experience is desirable
