Job Description
The Infrastructure Engineer, II is specialized in either a Server, or a Network Administration role. Under minimal supervision develops, supports, and maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software. Analyzes, plans, implements, maintains, troubleshoots, and enhances large complex systems or networks: servers, mini-computers, LANS, WANs., storage arrays, cloud migration, and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise infrastructure platform. Performs end-user support as "Tier 3" for escalated issues.
Plans and designs an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
Analyzes, develops, modifies, tests and maintains IT systems.
Works on Azure cloud migration activities.
Monitors and responds to Incidents related to infrastructure components in the Azure cloud, 3rd party Datacenter, and on-premises environments.
Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of workstations, servers and related hardware and Software in a LAN, WAN and stand-alone environment.
Provides Investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and Infrastructure.
Diagnoses problems and provides recommendations for improvement on existing and new systems.
Builds, patches, tests (check for compatibility issues, conducts QA) and deploys complex systems and platforms meeting clients’ needs and specifications.
Configures security settings or access permissions for groups and individuals.
Documents procedures and troubleshooting processes related to systems/networks software and hardware.
Trains, coaches or assists less experienced team members as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline,
5+ years of experience in system engineering and IT infrastructure support required OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in an IT role providing customer service in a multi-site environment.
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, or related certifications.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL 4) Certificate.
Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills Advanced Preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills Advanced Preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills Advanced Preferred
Highly focused attention to detail Advanced Preferred
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations Intermediate Required

2+ years of experience managing and configuring enterprise.
