Analyst of Finance

As an essential member of the Finance & Infrastructure Division, you will play a vital role in supporting the Agency by analyzing data, creating insightful reports, identifying improvement opportunities, and responding to queries from program leads and other staff. This is a collaborative role that involves regular communication with different departments and stakeholders to ensure that data-driven insights are effectively implemented to drive business performance. Salary Type: not specified Job Requirements Analyze current and past financial data and performance Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by gathering relevant data Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as financial, FTE, and key operational metrics Provide information and data to the Director in the preparation of CCS budget and funder proposals Conduct trend analyses and develop predictive models to support business decision-making Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts Liaise regularly with internal users of the HRIS system and take appropriate action to ensure that their reporting requirements are met Assist with interim and year‑end audit requirements Identify areas for operational improvement and cost savings by analyzing current processes and financial trends Assist in developing streamlined processes and improvements in workflow efficiency Work with teams to implement and monitor changes, ensuring ongoing productivity and efficiency improvements Consult with internal colleagues to facilitate the effective and timely provision of facility and asset support, respond to ad‑hoc requests and maintenance needs and assist with contract management Qualification Criteria Education Equivalent of 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Nature of Experience Required 1+ years of experience in a finance, analytics, or operations role (internship experience is a plus) Skills Required Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey insights to non‑financial stakeholders Accounting software, e.g., MS Dynamics and Great Plains accounting software, is an asset Interested applicants can apply by forwarding an updated resume and cover letter via e-mail to recruit@ccs4u.org by the deadline.
