Your Position & How You Will Contribute Reporting to the GM, Business & Wholesale Services, the Business Account Executive (BAE) will lead telMAX’s entry into the commercial market. The BAE will generate and qualify customer leads, communicate with businesses, property managers and building owners within our geographic footprint, assess their telecom needs and goals, and create solutions using our state‑of‑the‑art fibre optic services. A background in network systems, fibre optics, and prior telecom experience is highly beneficial. Responsibilities & Key Duties Sales and Lead Generation Sell telMAX telecommunications services (fibre optics, internet, VOIP, etc.) to businesses, property managers, and building owners. Generate, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline of warm and cold leads to meet sales quotas and targets. Conduct outreach via cold calling, emails, and networking to identify potential customers within your territory. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Customer Relations & Service Build and foster long‑term client relationships, positioning telMAX as a trusted partner. Educate customers about telMAX’s products, services, bundles, and promotions to meet their business requirements. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post‑sale to ensure satisfaction and retention. Sales Strategy & Management Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored telecom solutions that align with client needs. Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial deals for both parties. Maintain accurate sales records, data and activities in the CRM system. Market Intelligence & Feedback Track and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product development and pricing strategies. Provide insights and recommendations to management on customer needs and opportunities to enhance service offerings. Represent telMAX professionally and ethically at all times, adhering to company policies and guidelines. Attributes Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent relationship‑building abilities. Knowledge of business‑grade internet and telecommunications solutions. Familiarity with VoIP systems and telecom technologies. Past telecom sales or relevant B2B sales experience preferred. Proficiency in CRM systems and contact‑funnel management. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to cross‑sell multiple telecom products and services. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas. High self‑motivation and drive to succeed in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to support clients post‑sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications or training in telecommunications, sales, or CRM are assets. Experience Minimum 2–3 years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably within telecommunications or related industries. Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and quotas. Experience managing and nurturing a client roster with regular contact to drive repeat business. Proficiency with CRM systems for lead, opportunity and interaction tracking. Basic knowledge of network design and telecom infrastructure highly beneficial.
