Job Title: Radiology Technologist Organization: Lakeridge Health OPSEU Job Status: Casual Part Time Department: Interventional Radiology Program: Diagnostic Imaging Services Schedule: 8‑hour shifts, days/evenings/weekends (Subject to change) Wage: $36.840 – $50.240 per hour Posting Reference: 2500003212 Open to: all qualified OPSEU staff at Lakeridge Health from 4 November 2025 until 12 November 2025, 11:59 pm. Duties and Responsibilities Produce radiographs, store images, and record them as required to complete examinations requested by medical staff in accordance with procedures in appropriate manuals. Assist the Radiologist in performing procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety. Maintain technical competence under College guidelines and the requirements of the C.A.M.R.T. and/or O.A.M.R.T. Rotate into other radiographic modalities. Complete other related duties as required. Qualifications Successful completion of a recognized Diagnostic Radiography program. Must hold a valid CMRITO licence. Interventional Radiology experience is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of all radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, photographic techniques, pathology, and record‑keeping required to operate in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Proven ability to use varied X‑Ray and ancillary equipment to provide high‑quality diagnostic images for the Radiologist. Proven effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care. Proven ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations. Must be able to work all shifts on short notice, take stand‑by calls and be on site within 30 minutes. CAMRT membership, preferred. Must have a satisfactory performance record.
