Position Summary
Permanent full-time CLXT opportunity is now available in Grand Forks, BC Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage rate will be $36.70 per hour.

Days of work are rotating day and evening shifts with the participation of on-call.

What will you work on:
The CLXT will perform a variety of routine laboratory, x-ray and ECG procedures in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards as defined by respective service and accrediting bodies. b>
Boundary District Hospital is a level 1 community hospital where the large team of healthcare professionals facilitate a range of interdisciplinary healthcare services including 24/7 Emergency, surgical services, inpatient care, community health programming as well as Laboratory and X-Ray.

Community: Grand Forks is a community of around 4,000 people, considered to be the ‘hub’ of the Kootenay Boundary Region and conveniently located within a couple of hours driving of two major centers Spokane and Kelowna. Qualifications:

1. Graduation from an approved Combined Laboratory X-Ray Technician program. Eligible for registration with a provincial licensing body.
2. One year of general experience in both laboratory and diagnostic imaging fields or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience would be preferred.
