With both production and transportation in-house, we're able to ensure a seamless event with professionalism, experience, and reliability throughout North America Job Description Working as part of the Audio Department, the Senior Audio Engineer will assist the Operations and Production Managers in the delivery of quality Audio solutions in the Concerts, Tours, Special Events and Corporate markets we operate in. Developing and delivering solution in exciting and challenging environments and against tight deadlines, our Audio team is driven to ensure quality is a priority and that excellence is achieved in all aspects of delivery. Requirements Minimum 5+ year’s previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the industry. Experience working and operating on large scale events in the Special Events, touring music and corporate environments. Computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications, CAD and/or Vectorworks is desirable. Experience with Networking, Dante, AVB and fiber protocols and topology. Experience in FOH, Monitor, Systems, RF and Stage roles is essential. Knowledge of d&b audiotechnik speaker systems, design and software, Digico , Midas, Avid consoles, Shure and Sennheiser products is desirable. A basic knowledge of recording systems and connectivity is desirable. A good understanding of Electrical safety at work Must display a positive attitude at all times , both in the warehouse and on-site. Must be client facing with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to cope well under pressure and work to deadlines. Methodical and analytical approach to work with good fault-finding skills. Ability to learn and retain information within a reasonable time frame . High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Reliable with good time keeping record. Committed to personal development. Actively demonstrate and promote safe working methods / safe lifting practices. Ability to maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment. Ability to understand and comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Responsibilities Work as part of the team, assisting in the design, preparation, installation, and testing of all audio equipment. Operate to a detailed brief and have input on the specification and delivery approach. Ensure all equipment the Senior Audio Engineer has responsibility for is correctly installed tested and fully operational prior to commencement of any rehearsal, sound check or show. Ensure that the Company’s quality standards are maintained at all times. Faulty / Damaged equipment to be clearly marked and the Service Manager notified of this at the earliest opportunity. Ensure correct equipment entry into the equipment rental software, including bar codes. Any anomalies, omissions or shortages should be brought to the attention of the Audio Operations Manager at the earliest opportunity. Health & Safety: Ability to maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment and understand and comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Rules. Ensure any issues are reported accordingly. Communication: Ability to follow and constructively work alongside others as required , contributing towards team efficiency and the betterment of the business.
